This Vancouver contemporary style home features modern kitchen cabinets in custom wood veneer and high gloss cabinetry throughout. The main kitchen and living room features warm toned wood veneer cabinetry, with breath-taking views to the west. The wok kitchen and suite kitchen continue these tones, but in a high quality custom taupe glossy finish. Camridge also did the cabinetry for the play room, office, wine room and bathrooms.
Main Floor
The main kitchen is flanked by the playroom and the main living room. The sleek wood veneer cabinetry is continued, but in lighter toned wood. The living room has full length and full height media cabinets. The cabinets visually create a clean, uncluttered airy appearance while providing amazing amounts of storage. Rather than intrude into the space they are tucked in slightly behind the fireplace.
The wok kitchen as well as the suite kitchen are in a beautiful and elegant taupe high gloss piano finish. Notice the feature wall at the end of the room in the wok kitchen, which we made in high gloss and the same wood veneer that is in the main kitchen. The acrylic high glossy material is very durable, easy to clean and highly scratch resistant.
Custom Millwork
Other areas of the home continue in the contemporary style. Floating bathroom vanities create a spacious and airy feel to the rooms. Evident throughout is the attention to detail and quality finishing. The cabinetry in these rooms are designed to provide an great deal of storage and function, while still visually appearing very minimalist.
Camridge also did a custom wine room in wood veneer with floor to ceiling cabinetry and an island feature which visually separates the space while providing ample storage.
